I’m a rising senior at Plano East Senior High School in Plano, Texas graduating with honors and an IB diploma. I hope to continue my academic journey at a school that matches my desire to push myself and to excel. My desire to challenge myself is apparent in all areas of my life and has led me to take pride in my academics. I currently have a weighted GPA of 4.3. I will be graduating as an IB student this spring. I hope to continue my academic journey at a college that sees academics as a gateway to changing the world. From a young age, my mother instilled the belief that it is our duty to leave this world better than we found it, fueling my passion for volunteer and service. I am an active member of Refugee Services of Texas and created a local campaign to support SOUL homeless church. All leading me to hopefully pursue business and public policy. 

I first picked up a golf club prior to my freshman year in high school and have made significant progress in all aspects of the game in 3 years. In the past year alone, I have reduced my scoring average by over 10 strokes. To date, my best tournament scores are 73, 74, and 75. I am an athlete that values hard work and grit, as well as compassion and endurance. As my swing and mental game continue to sharpen and improve, I know my best rounds lie ahead of me.  Prior to golf I excelled at soccer, basketball and volleyball.  However, for the past three years golf has become my exclusive and singular focus. Athletics have played a key role in shaping who I am as a person, including the way I face challenges. Each sport taught me something different about myself and has prepared me for my golf journey and life itself.
