About Me
My name is Justin Smith, and I am in the class of 2025 at White House Heritage High School located in
White House, TN. I have two older brothers that played baseball, and I grew up at the ball fields
watching them both play the game. This is where my love for the game started when I was 3. I began
playing tee ball at the age of 4, and my passion for the game continued to grow. I transitioned to playing
travel baseball at the age of 9 and have not looked back since. I played other sports growing up as well
such as Soccer, Karate, Football, and Basketball. I played Football, Basketball, and Baseball as a freshman
in high school and continue to play varsity Basketball and varsity Baseball. I enjoy all sports, but baseball
has always been my favorite. With everything in life, I strive to have a strong work ethic. I utilize my
strong work ethic on and off the field including academics. Academics has always been a high priority for
me. I always try and compete with myself which helps keep myself in check. I know the importance of
being a good student as well as a good ball player in order to succeed. I believe that I have what it takes
to play baseball at the college level. I know you will not regret giving me the opportunity, and I know I
will make the best out of it.
Player Evaluation
Justin Smith is a 2025 C/CIF from White House Heritage High School(TN). He plays travel ball with Knights 17u American. Justin is 6′ 195 lbs and also plays basketball. He hits lefthanded with good power. He doesn’t strike out a lot for a power hitter. He hits a lot of doubles and is starting to leave the yard. He has a good eye and does walk a lot. Behind the plate, Justin has a pop time of 2.05 sec. His throws are accurate. He is working on arm strength and quickness. He is solid defensively at 1B & 3B. Justin is an excellent student. He has a 3.87 GPA and recently scored 24 on the ACT. He is intersted in studying Business in college.
