I am so excited to be helping Avery through the recruiting process to help her find her perfect fit.  Avery is a great young lady who puts in so much work to be the best student-athlete she can be.

Avery plays both outside and right side, and also gets some time as a defensive specialist.  She is 6’1, touches 9’7, and is incredibly strong.  Her ball control is phenomenal.  She has a calm and quiet platform with really good touch. She makes a good, early read on the ball and moves well while covering a good amount of court with her length.  She is balanced and smooth on her feet, and can pass well outside her body.

As a hitter, Avery hits a heavy ball.  She hits both line and angle well from either pin and hits the BIC with good pace.  Her arm is high and she has a good contact on the ball.  I believe with her size, strength, and ball control, Avery will make a good 6 rotation pin hitter. She also puts in a lot of extra work to be a better athlete with her strength training regimen, beach volleyball, and extra skills trainings.  I am really excited to watch this young lady blossom into the volleyball player she has the potential to be.

Avery has a 3.90 GPA and is in Honors Society.  It is important for her to have not only a good athletic fit, but a good academic fit as well.  She is motivated to find the right school to help her be a successful adult.  I believe she has tremendous upside and could be a great college student-athlete.  Please let me know if there is any more information on Avery needed.
