Aidan Petrocco is a 2024 IF from Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek, Georgia. He plays travel ball with 643 DP Cougars 18u Pagan. Aidan is 5’9″ 160 lbs and scrappy. At the plate, Aidan make consistent hard contact. He generates good power with his small frame. His exit velo has been recorded at 94 mph off a tee. Aidan rarely strikes out. He is a very good base runner who plays much faster then his 6.8 60 time. He routinely takes the extra base and is a good base stealer. Aidan is a very good defensive infielder. He is a 2-time All Region selection as a shortstop. He has excellent range, good hands, and can make throws from multiple arm slots. Arm strength will determine whether or not he can stick at SS at the next level. Aidan plays the game hard. He is an excellent teammate. He is not one of the guys you notice when you walk up to the game but he is definitely one you remember when the game is over. He is going to be a great addition to someone’s college baseball program. Aidan is a good student with a 3.4 GPA.
