Lawson Ivey is a 2025 RHP/C/3B from Fellowship Christian School(GA) and the Dunwoody Diablos 17u Wanamaker. Lawson is 5’10” 195 lbs. Lawson has always been a primary catcher growing up, but has started pitching more and more because of team needs. Lawson ended up being named 1st Team All Region as a pitcher this Spring. Lawson locates a low-80’s fastball and mixes in a curve and change. He throws strikes, 13 BB in 43 IP. He finished the season throwing 3 straight complete games in the playoffs. At the plate, Lawson hits right handed and has good power potential. His exit velo has been recorded at 95 mph off a tee. Defensively, he is solid behind the plate of at the corners. Lawson is an outstanding student and has a 4.4 GPA.
