About Me
My name is Phoebe Chamian and I’m a junior at Belmont High School in Belmont, MA. I love being on a competitive team where we strive to win and support each other along the way. While I’ve played competitive golf as an individual for many years, some of my favorite memories are those playing in a team environment. This will be my 4th year as a player on the Boys Varsity Golf Team and look forward to competing for another league championship next fall.
My passion for the game and drive for continual improvement gives me confidence that I will be an asset to a collegiate women’s golf program. I have been working especially hard over the past winter so that I can keep exceeding my personal bests and expect my scoring record in 2021 to be strong.
I have been invited to play in the National High School Girls Championship at Pinehurst where I look forward to representing the State of Massachusetts. I am also scheduled to compete in both the IMG Junior World Championship in San Diego and the Optimist International Junior Championship in Miami.

I am pleased to provide my personal recommendation for Ms. Phoebe Chamian as a university student and competitive golfer.
For the past five years, I have enjoyed the privilege of working closely with Phoebe as her instructor and mentor in golf. I have watched Phoebe mature as a student, golfer and individual. She is a talented athlete, but most importantly she has shown a consistently positive approach in dealing with every person, challenge or opportunity she has encountered.
Since 2018, Phoebe has also enjoyed the honor of being a Junior Select Member at Nashawtuc Country Club. Each year, Nashawtuc invites talented young men and women golfers to become Junior Select Members of the club. Phoebe is an active participant in all learning opportunities, and embraces each occasion to help, motivate and comfort those around her. She has presented herself in a positive manner and has never lost sight of her responsibilities as an ambassador for the program both on and off the course.
Phoebe will certainly continue to be a respected leader on the course, in the classroom, and throughout campus as she transitions to university. It is without hesitation that I offer my recommendation and welcome any requests you may have regarding Phoebe’s qualifications or character.
