About Me

My name is Natalie Papa I am a Junior  at Lincoln-Way East High School, Frankfort , Illinois , class of 2022. I started golfing at the age of five in group lessons and immediately enjoyed it. As I got older I started competing in 9 hole IJGA tournaments. The last 4 years I have competed in 18 hole tournaments through IJGA, MAJGT, HJGT, and Under Armor.
Some of my strengths are that I’m a very good listener whether that be my teammates, coach, parents, or my teachers at school. I am also a good leader because I have been on the varsity golf team for three years now, and I’ve gained respect and trust from my teammates. I would like to play golf in college because, I love the game of golf, and I love having a team atmosphere going along with it. In addition, I love the competitiveness that summer golf season has and I would like to take that to college as well. I hope one day to take my strengths to the collegiate level.

I’m writing a letter of recommendation today in regards to one of my students Natalie Papa who is a junior at Lincoln way East High School located in Frankfort, Illinois.

I have been working with Natalie for over six years now and have watched her become a better player each and every year.    During lessons we will focus on one main part of her swing and she will spend hours on trying to improve on the things we talked about.    She is long off the tee and I expect her to gain even more distance in the next couple years.    We focus on putting and wedges about 60% percent of her lesson time and she spends even more time while she practices and it’s starting to show some big improvements.    We also spend a lot of time on the golf course going over situations that will occur during rounds and hitting different shots from many locations.

Natalie is the kind of person that everyone wants to be around because she is always smiling and having fun while working on her game and respects the other players around her.    She has parents who want to give her the best opportunity to become better and they don’t push her and let coaches do their jobs.

I highly recommend Natalie for any college any college program as I have personally worked with over 150 college players and I know Natalie has what it takes to succeed.    She will make a huge impact on any college team.   Please contact me if you need any information on Natalie at johnplatt62@hotmail.com.

Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great honor that I write a letter of recommendation for Natalie Papa.  I have had the privilege to be Natalie’s first golf instructor when she started the game around five years old.  Since a very early age, Natalie has always shown her exceptional character and dedication to the game of golf.  I knew then that Natalie would be a talented golfer.  There was not a doubt in my mind she would work hard and go above and beyond what it would take to play at the college level.  Over the past ten years, she has done just that.

Natalie will push herself to get better every season while maintaining a positive outlook on everything.  This is something I love about Natalie.  She can bounce back from anything and will not let any negative thoughts creep in.  What also stands out about Natalie is her ability to get along and work together with others.  She is always the first to encourage her teammates and friends.  She is a true definition of a good teammate that any coach would be lucky to have.  She is a positive role model in every way which I why she is my first pick when I need an assistant to help at my junior golf camps.  I can trust Natalie with any position I give her.  Her knowledge of the golf swing and enthusiastic personality always inspires my other junior golfers and everyone who plays with her.

I am confident you will not regret choosing Natalie to play for you.  She is a skilled player that every coach would want to have on their team.   Not only will Natalie bring in low scores, she will be kind of person to keep everyone smiling and motivated on the team.

Sincerely,

Suzie Owens, LPGA Teaching Professional

Natalie Papa will be an asset to any collegiate golf team.  Her athletic ability combined with her fun loving personality make Natalie a quality teammate.   Over the past 2 years Ive watched Natalie work hard to improve her golf skills and always with a smile on her face!  She is only getting started as it’s clear she’s capable of shooting very low golf scores.   Natalie is a true athlete with a lot of power.  All parts of her game are solid but plenty of room for growth.  Natalie is coachable!  Takes instruction well and puts it to work.  Natalie has been a terrific role model to the younger kids in our program.  They look up to her and she is always willing to offer advice.  Natalie possess all the characteristics to excel at a high level.  I’m looking forward to watching Natalie’s journey in the golf world.
