About Me

I am Jack Allison and I go to Mountain Brook High School in Birmingham, Alabama. Since I was a child, I have always enjoyed sports, mainly being on a team with others. Throughout middle and high school, I have played multiple different sports, but I found a love for baseball. My goal, every day, is to be better than the last whether on the mound, the weight room, or in school. I feel with my determination and dream I would be able to take it to the next level. I would be very grateful for the opportunity to play college baseball.

Player Evaluation

Jack Allison is a 2022 RHP from Mountain Brook High School(AL) and the East Coast Sox. Jack is 6’1″ 188 lbs and throws 5 pitches for strikes in any count. Jack’s fastball has topped out at 82 and he usually sits 78-79. He is about to start a velo program to add to it. He also throws a sinker, which is about 3 mph less than his fastball, a curve ball, slider, and change up. Jack is one of the more successful pitchers on his high school and travel teams. He threw a complete game 3-hitter last week at the 17u WWBA. All 3 hits were IF singles. He has mastered the art of changing speeds and mixing up his pitches to induce weak contact. He is working hard with the goal of adding 3-4 mph to his pitches without losing movement and command. Jack is an excellent student with a 3.4 GPA at Mountain Brook and will graduate with honors in their advanced program. Mountain Brook is recognized as one of the top academic high schools in the country.
